Victory Perfect Lyrics
Don't Hesitate to live your dream
It's more than worth it if you know what you wanna be
Hey Baby, now is the right time
Today will just pass you by
Tomorrow is so far away
Hey Baby, you gotta believe in yourself
All the way, you know you got what it takes
All the way, you know you got what it takes
So why wait?
Don't Hesitate to live your dream
It's more than worth it if you know what you wanna be
Why wait, now is the right time, oh Yeah
Today will just pass you by
Tomorrow is so far away
Hey Baby, You gotta believe in yourself
All the way, you know you got what it takes, yeah yeah
All the way, you know you got what it takes, So why wait
Today will just pass you by, by
Tomorrow is so far away,
Hey Baby, you gotta believe in yourself
Cause All the way, you know you got what it takes,
Cause All the way, you know you got what it takes,so why wait
Why wait, Why wait,
You're Victory Perfect, ashhh, that's RIGHT darlin!!

Am I missing something here? Because when I read these lyrics it sounds like a girl is trying to be seduced into losing her virginity.

See, that's what I was missing. I am sorry I missed that FM and this is a valuable lesson in how things can be taken out of context. In the words of our mortal television leader; Homer Simpson, "DOH!"

Now that I have a little history (I really didn't know the background), I can see what she's saying.

That's right, little girl, make up your mind right now that you are going to live those dreams and let as little as possible get in the way. When I first read it, I was thinking the problem with living your dreams is all the people who count on you along the way. But they become part of the dream, don't they? Good poem, good song.

oh Dave LOL. you know how idealistic kids are. I hope she does get to live her dreams, and I will help her to do so as much as I can control anything :). And, you are right. She can be a profound 8 year old, just as your skylar can be a profound 2 year old. Maybe it's the name????
